Let's be real, 2020 is a roller coaster of uncertainty. COVID-19 has gripped us all with a plethora of fear, sadness, and anger.

Yesterday, I felt extremely sad! Labor Day is usually an exciting fun day, full of the (3 F's)family, friends, and food. But, yesterday, It was just another day of being home in isolation because of underlying issues.

I tried to make the best of it. I got dressed, put on my favorite cowboy hat, and sat outside on my front lawn, pretending I was somewhere else.

I literally transported to a faraway land where the sun was hot. But, the coconut tree gave adequate protection as the sea breeze blew my hat off of my head. The fresh breeze of the ocean's aroma engulfed my body as I inhaled the best oxygen that life has to offer! I said to myself, "this is the life!" At that moment, I was completely happy! All of a sudden, King stated braking. Boom, just like that, I was back to reality! Oh well, it's a beautiful day, and I got some wonderful sun in.

Happiness is a goal that we all want in life. We can spend a whole lifetime waiting and still end up being unhappy!

Yep, life is full of uncertainty right now, but we have to make the best of it!

Remember, that life is what you make it. For now, I'm grateful to be alive and in the company of my best friend.
